Always bursting with creativity and corkiness, Dani works as an artist and  illustrator in Edmonton, Alberta. When she isn't in her bedroom studio, she works as a face painter and provides a variety of paint nights and other workshops.
From Art Room to Artist
In grade school, Dani could often be found in the art room—chatting with friends, working on projects, or sketching away. Her love for creativity only grew. Eager to pursue a career in the arts, Dani studded Design and Illustration and Graduated from Grant Macewan University in 2012
After graduating, she gained experience as a designer in print production, promotional advertising, marketing, and publication. While working in design, she continued illustrating in her spare time and started face and body painting in 2017. When the pandemic hit in 2020, she embraced a new creative venture—custom pet portrait commissions.
In 2022, Dani founded Lilywood Creative, stepping fully into her passion and embracing the journey of an independent artist.
Today
Dani makes friends wherever she goes and is always up for a coffee, a visit to a local brewery, or a sketching session in Edmonton’s beautiful river valley. She enjoys collaborating with local businesses, offering murals, creative workshops, and design expertise.
Working hard to establish herself in the art community, Dani can often be found at local artisan pop-up markets and public spaces, sharing her work. She also dreams of completing a children’s book—one step closer to bringing her love for storytelling and illustration together.
